• Clinic account information, including clinic name, contact name, email address, and phone number
• Patient contact information entered by the clinic, including name and mobile phone number
• Appointment information, including service type, appointment date and time, and message status
• Messaging records, including reminder delivery status, confirmation replies, cancellation replies, opt-in status, and opt-out status
• Technical information needed to operate and secure the service

2. How We Use Information

We use information to:

• Send appointment reminders, confirmations, cancellations, and rescheduling follow-up messages
• Provide dashboard reporting and message history
• Maintain account security, service reliability, and customer support
• Comply with legal obligations and messaging compliance requirements

3. SMS Messaging

Confirmchair sends SMS messages only for appointment-related communications requested or authorized by the clinic. Patients may opt out of SMS messages at any time by replying STOP. Patients may opt back in by replying START, where supported.

4. Information Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate the platform, such as SMS delivery, hosting, analytics, and payment providers, and only as needed to provide the service.

5. Data Retention

We retain account, appointment, and messaging data for as long as needed to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is guaranteed to be completely secure.

7. Clinic Responsibility

Clinics are responsible for obtaining any required patient consent before using Confirmchair to send appointment-related text messages.

8. Your Choices

A patient can stop receiving text messages by replying STOP. A clinic may contact us to request account updates or account closure.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.
